BTEC and A Level students at North Somerset Enterprise and Technology College (NSETC) celebrated great results today. This year’s BTEC (RQF) pass rate was 96% (under the new more robust qualification which includes the examined elements). The A Level pass rates were equally impressive with 100% pass rates in over 70% of the subjects offered, giving an overall pass rate of 90%
We are also delighted to have one of our students, Thomas Banks receive the Commended Award for BTEC Engineering Student of the year 2018 as well as completing his Level 3 programme at D*D*D. This is the second year in a row our BTEC Engineering students have been nationally recognised and it shows the level of quality of the partnership working with Weston College which has enabled learners to progress onto University and apprenticeships with companies such as Rolls Royce, GKN and IPECCO.

He also commended the significant support for Inspirational Futures Trust and the way in which Weston College had assisted with new technologies, investment and expenditure.
