Year 10 - how do I apply?
If you decide you would like to join us you need to talk to your parents or carers to ask them to fill out an application form from North Somerset Council, which is handling the application process for us.
How to make your application:

- Applications to join NSETC should be made through North Somerset Council. Closing date for applications was 31st October 2017. If you still wish to apply, please complete the following application form and return to North Somerset Council. Secondary Transfer and Year 10 Intake 2017-18 form
- National offer day is 1st March 2017. If you have applied online, you will be notified by email on this day. If you have completed a paper application, a letter will be posted to you second class on 1st March 2017.
- Parents will need to accept or refuse the offer of place by 15th March 2017.
- If your application is successful, you will be invited in to a taster session and getting-to-know you days before you start in September, so you can meet the other students and can start to make new friends. You will be able to meet your tutor and some of your teachers so you know what to expect.
The core of what we are looking for in potential NSETC students is the right attitude. Any potential student must be keen to take advantage of the work experience, willing to participate in school events and enjoy getting involved with other students in enrichments and activities.
When you start in September we will take some time out of normal lessons to do induction activities so we can make sure you are happy and settled in your new school.
