You will develop your core maths skills and concepts such as algebra, geometry and calculus.
What will I study?
You will look at topics such as mechanics, statistics, algorithms, graphing theory and linear programming.
Core mathematics covers the fundamental concepts in algebra, geometry and calculus. In the mechanics module you will learn how to apply these concepts to problems encountered in physics and engineering. The statistics module will teach you how to apply these concepts to aspects of other pure sciences, social sciences, computing, business, economics and nance.
The decision module will incorporate algorithms, graphing theory and linear programming, teaching you how to apply them in computing and business.
